Miley Jade Designs is my creative home — a reflection of my life, my journey, and the stories I’ve been lucky enough to witness and tell. I’m Emily J, a photographer with over two decades behind the lens. My work has traveled farther than I ever imagined, finding homes on every continent and capturing moments, places, and emotions across the world.

For years, I lived out of a camera bag and a suitcase at art shows nationwide, chasing light, stories, and adventure. But somewhere along the way, I realized that my true happy place wasn’t thousands of miles away — it was closer to home. It was found in community, in authenticity, and in creating with heart. That realization led me to The Windmill in Penn Yan, where art, connection, and storytelling naturally collide.

As my journey evolved, so did my art. I taught myself graphic design and digital art, layering nostalgia, bold color, and meaning into every piece I create. Each design carries a story — some loud and playful, some quiet and reflective — but all rooted in memory, place, and feeling.

I’m a proud mom of four incredible sons, and I call the Syracuse area home. My work is deeply inspired by family life, Central New York, and the places that shape us — the neighborhoods, landmarks, traditions, and everyday moments that turn into lifelong memories. Every piece from Miley Jade Designs is created with intention, love, and a deep sense of belonging. This isn’t just art to hang on a wall — it’s art that tells a story, holds meaning, and feels like home.
